Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots will be expanding the reach of their broadcasts for the 2019 season, including live video broadcasts for all 140 games of the regular season and all potential postseason games.
“We are very excited to be able to add live streaming of all of our games for our fans this season,” said Somerset Patriots President/General Manager Patrick McVerry. “This is a great way for us to continue to grow our extensive coverage of the team throughout the season on SPN.tv and all of our social media and digital platforms.”
New to the team, the Patriots will offer fans the opportunity to watch their favorite team every game, for both home and road contests. Each broadcast will stream with high-end HD quality video, scoreboard, broadcast video commercials and the possibility of instant replay. The archived broadcast for each game will also be fully accessible to fans after the game concludes.
Fans can now watch broadcasts on the Somerset Patriots home page (www.somersetpatriots.com), SPN.tv, Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitter/Periscope and Twitch. Additionally, fans that own an Apple TV and/or Roku and Amazon Fire Stick streaming devices will also be able to stream games on their TVs through the Boxcast app (search Somerset Patriots).
In addition, the Somerset Patriots will continue their partnership with long-time partner and Flagship Station 1450 WCTC, offering fans in transit or near a radio the ability to listen to every game. Audio can also be accessed online at www.wctcam.com.
Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations Marc Schwartz will return as the team’s primary broadcaster for his third season on air. Broadcast/Media Relations assistant Brandon Pelter will join the team as the number two broadcaster throughout the season.
